IT'S ALMOST HERE!! The Iphone 4G is coming this summer June or July and I heard it is coming to Verizon. Their contract with AT&T is finally ending(thank god) and they will make a CDMA version of hte phone!! Just wait a couple of more months, and your wishes will come true;)

No. Never. First of all, the iPhone is NEVER coming to any other carrier, so forget the wait. It's not going to happen.

The iPhone is a GSM network phone. It requires a SIM card from the carrier to work. Verizon is a CDMA mobile network. No SIM cards. It will not work.

Rest assured that will definitely not be the price...it would be great if it was?...

I think from what I can gather there'll be one price of around £450 to £500 for 16gb and £500+ for the 32gb version.

The dollar amounts you see are excluding line rental costs of two years on their network AT&T.

Similarly, with the home networks you'll have to pay roughly £45 p/m for two years to acquire this beauty.

If you do the math...it'll cost ya over a grand in two years line rental fees.

If you're already on a Pay Monthly with upgrade approaching, then most likely you'll get the handset for a lower concession price...providing you sign up for another two years or so...

There is no such thing as a iPhone 4G yet, verizon won't be getting the iPhone for a while so don't hold your breath. iPhones only work with carriers who support sim cards, verizon does not.

It doesn't seem right does it?

If you could get a flight to New York for £205 or less it would be better value to fly all the way to America, but the phone and fly back. At least then you get to have a trip to the Big Apple and get a phone for what it would have cost to just buy the phone in the UK and not go anywhere.

I'm wondering if the $199 price includes sales tax and state tax etc? Or whatever taxes they have over there? I'm thinking usually over there the tax isn't included in the price?

Apple is an American company as well, so its bound to be cheaper.

I think HTC make better phones anyway, the best you can get at the moment. Nokia make good value cheaper phones.

Lol.. How is the iphone overrated? It's just a piece of device, and that device is damn perfect to be quite honest. A phone, games, millions of application, pictures, music LMAO.. What more do you want? Go with the iphone... My sis and her husband got one, and I'm amazed.. I will probably get a 4th generation ipod touch when it comes out..

I wouldn't bother with selling it if I were you. People's attention are now directed at the upcoming iPhone 4.

You should have considered it earlier. People would probably not want to get the iPhone 3GS now if they wanted a new iPhone but rather wait a bit for the the new one.

No, You won't. They are 32GB to start out with, but Apple uses about 1GB of that for all the apps pre-installed and OS Software stuff. So divide 31 MB by your average file size, then determine it. Although.. I hope you plan on buying a few apps, and if you are, you'll need to spare a bit of space of them.
