Does anyone know if Apple is coming out with a new iPod touch besides from the ipad?

Yes, Apple releases a new ipod touch every year, usually in September.
The last update to the iPod Touch was just released this past September. It wouldn’t likely be until next September, or possibly later, when they would release a new model.
Even if they did, no one other than top executives at the company would know before the day that the product would be released. Apple is very secretive about product release and change announcements. They didn’t officially announce that they were releasing the iPad until earlier today. There was a lot of conjecture, but no official announcement from Apple themselves.
So, unless you’re going to wait around for an Apple press conference to POSSIBLY announce a new iPod Touch; either get the iPad or the current iPod Touch.
Well they MIGHT release one in September since the last 3 came in September.
