Rumored Nokia E71i Brings 5MP Cam and FP2

Nokia E71 is probably the most successful Nokia device last year with more than 10 million sold in the last 6 months of 2008 only.

And it really is a great smartphone. Staying in touch with Twitter and mobile email is fantastic, but there is still at least one that is lacking, and it’s the camera.

Both Nokia E71 and E71x comes with 3.2 megapixel cameras. The resolution is fine, but the picture quality leaves a little to be desired.

Well, looks like we don’t have to wait long to go for E71. A rumor says that Nokia is now readying an upgrade to this device: Nokia E71i. It comes with a 5 megapixel camera in it.

The Nokia E71i’s software will also be upgraded to S60 3rd edition FP2, just like the current Nokia E71x. It will also get a color makeover, with brown or mocha color scheme as a distinct possibility.

Nokia E71i should be announced during the Nokia World sometime this October or maybe even in September.
