The apple ipad provides a better email experience, meaning u can use any email sever, hotmail/live, aol, yahoo, gmail… were the ipod touch only allows aol and yahoo. The apple ipad also has the option of a 3g version which doesn’t allow phone calls to be made however it does receive 3g speed internet were available by att 3g coverage and 2.5g speed internet anywhere att phone calls can be made or received. The ipad also contains an larger lithium battery that provides 10 hours of web surfing and/or video viewing where there is only 6 hours on the ipod touch. And the ipad has an revolutionary processor for fast loading and lightning fast internet browsing. All of these are minor details so they are pretty much the same but the ipad has been tuned up to meet 2010 standards, Overall they are both great devices, hope this helps.
An iPad and the iPod Touch are similar for now, but that will change later. iPads allow you to change your backgrounds and have some more advanced features in the applications. Later, programmers will begin designing larger apps for the iPad. the apps will only work on iPad because of the large screen.
